Spring and Summer outreaches

It's the season, once again for BPOM to schedule groups to come to our ministry facility near Atlanta, Georgia for weekend outreaches this spring and summer. We have already scheduled groups for several weekends, but we want to fill up as many weekends as possible so that we can equip as many as possible to go into the streets and lanes of the cities all over America: healing the sick and afflicted, and proclaiming the Gospel of the Kingdom of God. Most groups arrive on Thursday evening and stay until Saturday evening. We train and equip them in the morning sessions, then go out and put what we learned into practice on the streets and in the marketplace in the afternoon and evening. Those who participate will see God perform miracles of healing through their hands, and will return to their cities with a new zeal, confidence and passion to see these same miracles where they live. If you would like more information about these outreaches or want to schedule a weekend for your group, contact us at thatjoelguy@gmail.com , or call us at (704)271-3028. We are here to serve you!

Miracle Evangelism in a Nutshell

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cYyPtSiWg1o

What a Ride!!

The past two months have been amazing! We have been blessed to be able to pour into our three young disciples; teaching them on evangelism, healing ministry, open-air preaching, the baptism in the Holy Spirit and street ministry. We spent many days on the streets of Atlanta, ministering to the homeless, drug-addicts, alcoholics, pimps, prostitutes and even some so-called "normal" people. During that time, we had several church groups from different parts of Atlanta and different states who came and stayed with us to be trained and equipped for power-evangelism. The testimonies of miracles that we witnessed are far too numerous to share here, but I will share a few highlights:
While carrying the big cross from the parking lot where we parked the bus to the park where we were going to eat lunch we saw a man with crutches leaning against a wall. We told him the Kingdom of Heaven had come near to him, and that if he would just give us his hand, Jesus Christ would heal him, RIGHT NOW! He did, and was instantly healed! The man sitting next to him was astonished, and asked us to pray for his knees. He was instantly healed as well! I saw a man with a cane and went over to minister to him. While doing so, I saw a woman coming down the sidewalk in a motorized wheelchair. I was hoping that one of the people on the team had stopped her and ministered to her. The man with the cane was healed and began to rejoice! When I turned around, I could see that the the team had already pulled the woman in the wheelchair up to a standing position. She had been unable to walk for twenty four years. She also had carpal-tunnel in both wrists, and was wearing braces on both arms. We ministered to her several times through the laying on of hands, and proclaiming healing in Jesus' name. In a few moments, all pain and weakness left her back and legs, and she began to walk! Her wrists were healed. She thought she was dreaming. She began to weep. The Lord told me to dance with her. So, I asked her to dance with me. With people on the team weeping for joy, along with this precious woman who was healed, we danced together on Peachtree Street in the middle of downtown Atlanta.

That was just 20 minutes out of one outreach! There were other miracles that same day. Several people fell on their knees and surrendered their lives to Jesus Christ right out in public. How do you share all that happened in eight weeks?! Every day that we went out to minister, we saw several people saved, healed and many received the baptism in the Holy Spirit. These three young men will never be the same! Jesus really rocked their world!! Over the eight weeks, we fed and ministered to the homeless at least ten times, ministered to people living in a local government housing project here in Covington several times, did open-air preaching on the streets of Atlanta several times, and passed out hundreds of Gospel tracts in Atlanta and in Athens, Georgia to university students. We also helped with a huge Halloween outreach at an Assemblies of God Church in Jackson, Georgia called, "Trail To Hell". Hundreds of people gave their lives to Jesus during this outreach, and there were dozens of people who received healing in their bodies. WOO HOO!

On the last Sunday the young men were with us, while attending service at Abundant Life A/G in Jackson, one of the leaders came to me and asked if I would help them pray for a man who had MS, and was unable to walk or even move his legs. When we got to him, he was sitting in a wheelchair in the hallway, and was completely helpless from the waist-down. After ministering to him for about twenty minutes, he could stand, but still could not take a step. We continued to minister to him in the name of Jesus. About ten minutes later, he could walk very slowly. We continued to minister to him. Within another fifteen minutes, he could walk, run and even leap! He was completely healed by the power of God, in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ! HALLELUJAH!!!!!
C'MON JESUS!!! One of our young disciples, Michael Sugar, was able to capture most of the healing on video using his i-phone. I will try and post a link to it as soon as it becomes available.

Discipleship Training Course

We have Three young men living with us here at the ministry loft for an eight week training course to be trained and equipped in the areas of healing and power-evangelism. Their names are Michael Reaser, Sebastian Prosper and Michael Sugar. The first night they were here, Michael Reaser received a fresh infilling of the Holy Spirit, and began to speak with other tongues for the first time in six years. All of them are learning how to minister healing to the sick and afflicted in public places like Wal-Mart and on the streets of Atlanta through the name of Jesus Christ. They are also seeing people surrender all to Jesus as a result of putting into practice what they have learned.

During their first two weeks here, we had two groups who came and stayed with us for weekend outreaches on the streets of the ATL. One of them was a group of about eight from a Church in Newnan, Georgia. The other was a group of thirteen from a Church in Dothan, Alabama. They came here to be trained and equipped for power-evagelism on the streets and in the marketplace. We saw so many people saved and healed during these two weeks that it is difficult to keep track of them. Many were kneeling down in public parks and even inside Wal-Mart, surrendering their lives to Jesus.

One of these three young men, Sebastian Prosper, is an intern with us from Fire School of Ministry out of Concord, North Carolina. Last night at our weekly BPOM outreach, he preached his first ever message. There were about 50 homeless people present and 19 volunteers from Mableton Assembly of God. Although I only gave him about six hours notice, he preached with power and passion. About seven people responded to the message and prayed out loud to forsake all sin and receive Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior!

Please agree with us in prayer for these young men, that they will be equipped, trained and mightily used of God to help reap the great harvest of souls that our Lord Jesus suffered and died to redeem.

Death To Sin Through Christ ( except from a sermon by C.G. Finney )

How perfectly chilling and horrible for persons to oppose the idea of expecting deliverance from sin and yet talk calmly of going on in sin all the rest of their earthly days! As an elder whom I knew rose in meeting and told the Lord he had been living in sin thus far and expected to go on in sin as long as he lived; he had sinned to-day and should doubtless sin to-morrow and so on--and yet he talked as calmly about it all as if it were foolish to make any ado, as well as impossible to attempt any change for the better. Talk of all this calmly--think of that! Quite calmly of living along in sin all the rest of his days! How horrible!! Suppose a wife should say to her husband, "I love you some, but you know I love many other men too, and that I find. it pleasant to indulge myself with them. You certainly must be aware that all women are frail creatures and liable to fall continually, and indeed you know that I expect to fall more or less as it may happen every day I live, so that you certainly will not expect from me anything so impracticable and fanatical as unblemished virtue! You know we have none of us any idea of being perfect in the present life--we don't believe in any such thing!"

Now let me ask you to look at this woman and hear what she has to say. Can you hear her talk so, without having your soul filled with horror? What! is this woman a wife, and does she think and talk in this way about conjugal fidelity?

And yet this is not to be compared in shocking guilt and treason with the case of the Christian who says, "I expect to sin every day I live," and who says this with unmoved carelessness. You expect to be a traitor to Jesus each day of your life; to crucify him afresh each day; to put him each day to an open shame; each day to dishonour his name, and grieve his heart, and to bring sorrow and shame upon all who love Christ's cause; and yet you talk about having a good hope through grace! But tell me, does not every true Christian say, "Do not let me live at all if I cannot live without sin; for how can I bear to go on day by day sinning against him whom I so much love!"

Outreaches

We continue to have outreaches every week: feeding and ministering to the homeless, drug-addicts. alcoholics, pimps, prostitutes and even some so-called "normal" people on the streets of the ATL.

Last Tuesday night, we had a team of about 25 volunteers from Christ Chapel in Zebulon, Georgia who prepared and served the food to feed about 40+ of our homeless friends. We were also joined by 29 people from two youth groups: one from Dallas, Texas and another from Greensboro, North Carolina. We sang songs, preached the Gospel and saw about 20 people respond to surrender their lives to Jesus Christ.

Last night we had about 12 volunteers from Mableton Assembly of God who prepared and served a spaghetti dinner to the people at our Whitehall Street site. There was also a team of high school students from Indiana who came with AIM ( Adventures in Missions ) from Gainesville, Georgia. There were approximately 60-70 homeless. We preached the word from Mark 8:34-38. Five men responded and came forward to surrender their lives to the Lord Jesus Christ.

We appreciate all the prayer and support from all our partners. Without your help we couldn't do this.
THANK YOU!!!

Charles G. Finney - from "The Infinite Worth of the Soul"

Come to Christ, and say, "Oh, Jesus! thou hast bought me,--I will be thine. Thou hast died for me, and purchased my life; and shall the life which thou has redeemed be given to Satan? No! no! as I am a man. No! as I have an immortal soul. No! as I belong to the government of God. No! as I hope for salvation. No! I dread to displease God, and desire to please my Saviour. Heaven beareth witness that I renounce my sins; and let God write it in heaven." Are you not ready? Why not? Make up your minds now and for ever, right here on the spot, in the house of God where the angels wait to tell the story, where the Holy Spirit breathes upon the people. What say you sinner,--are you willing to come over from Satan to God?You must decide now, one way or the other; and if we could see what infinite consequences, in respect to persons here, are turning on that decision, methinks the congregation would wail out with agony to see what destinies are trembling on this momentous point! See that needle, trembling on its pivot! It must, when it settles, point either one way or the other--to heaven or to hell. Sinner! such is your destiny. What do you say?
